The wait for their latest budget offering in the “T” series is finally over with the release of their advanced Tin HiFi T5. The Tin HiFi T5 boasts a new-generation 10mm DOC diaphragm dynamic driver unit inside newly designed ergonomic shells for the “T” series. Previously most “T” series IEMs like the T2, T4 offered bullet-shaped small ear shells, but with the T5 we are getting better fitting newly designed ergonomic ear shells. Tin HiFi T5 comes at a price of 129$.
Tin HiFi T5 features a newly-developed 10mm dynamic driver unit with DOC diaphragm material. It features an enhanced molecular carbon atom structure and composition that is more or less similar to the composition of a diamond. It allows the DOC diaphragm to be thinner, stronger, and more rigid than widely used DLC diaphragms. This improved rigidity, thin profile makes its movement easy hence moving the air swiftly inside the driver cavity.
The DOC diamond diaphragm unit achieves a completely linear frequency response achieving detailed and excellent response to minute details and strong dynamic contrast. It also allows the mid-frequency to be completely coherent with the upper and lower end, creating a transparent texture and balanced sound for the users. It pushes the split vibration frequency to a high level providing a high-detailed, punchy sound performance over a wide frequency response range.
Ear shells in the Tin HiFi T5 are made using high-quality aviation-grade aluminum alloy material. It not only improves the durability of the pair but also gives them a premium, refined look. Special acoustic chambers are designed in the internal cavities for achieving the perfect angles of reflection for the sound waves off the driver unit. The shells are designed utilizing machine learning strategies for a perfect shape providing a firm and comfortable fit for most users with a good level of noise isolation.
Tin Hifi T5 comes bundled with a 40/0.05 high-purity Oxygen-Free-Copper cable with Kevlar 200D plating to achieve complete electrical isolation and high-quality audio signal transmission. It is an extremely lightweight, tangle-free 4-core cable.
