Moondrop’s new Droplet IEM is the last member of the DSP line, meaning its connector is USB-C aka Type-C. The Droplet comes with a single balanced armature driver.
The shell of the Droplet is made of brass by CNC cutting and chrome plating.
The tuning is done through the built-in DSP of audio SOC in the USB-C interface. The chip is integrated with a decoding and amplification circuit.
The Droplet adopts a specially customized full-frequency nozzle-less balanced armature driver. There is no extra opening in the cavity, which can reduce external noise.
The cable of the Droplet is equipped with line control and with a high-quality MEMS microphone.
