Aune has released their latest special edition variant for the well-known X8 Desktop DAC, the all-new Aune X8 XVIII BT MAGIC DAC. It’s the special edition 18th anniversary edition of the X8 DAC. It reserves the classic features of the X8 series such as Swappable OPAMPs, FPGA Architecture, seven digital filter modes, etc. This latest X8 XVIII anniversary edition adds balanced TRS pre-amp output and supports high-resolution LDAC, aptX HD, and AAC codecs to Bluetooth connectivity.
Aune X8 XVIII features Aune’s self-developed FPGA core design architecture. It enables high-resolution signal decoding up to 32Bit/768kHz PCM and native DSD512 decoding. With its FPGA core technology, the X8 XVIII gets pure digital signal decoding support.
With the latest X8 XVIII anniversary edition DAC, Aune adds balanced TRS pre-amp output to the device along with the regular RCA Pre-amp and RCA line-out ports. As for input, you get Optical, Bluetooth, Coaxial, and USB input ports. Coaxial input allows you to connect it with other digital sources in the chain.
Aune X8 XVIII Magic DAC features interchangeable OPAMP design. The OPAMPs can be interchanged as required by just simply the pull and plug method. The X8 XVIII includes the OPAMP swapping tool included in the package.
Aune X8 XVIII Magic DAC is loaded with seven digital filter modes. These filters provide seven different tastes. Since Aune X8 XVIII also features swappable OPAMPs, the DAC allows the users full control over the output performance.
