In October 2021, FiiO&Jade Audio’s first co-branded portable DAC/Amp KA3 was born. The KA1 that came half a year later features a more compact and portable body. Now it has been two months. This time, FiiO introduces the balanced portable DAC and Amplifier KA2.
The KA2 comes between the KA3 and KA1 making a further segmentation of portability and performance to meet user needs in different use cases. Its size has been significantly reduced compared with the KA3, yet the performance has greatly improved compared with the KA1. It is a truly balanced and powerful USB audio adapter.
The two CS43131 DAC chips from CIRRUS LOGIC couple with the popular 4.4mm balanced headphone output, decoding and amplifying all circuit signals throughout the whole process in a truly balanced way. Meanwhile, it has superior performance indicators, and sound tuning while featuring impressive characteristics, such as 32bit/384kHz and DSD256 decoding support, FiiO Control App support, and 5 digital filters.
