FiiO’s latest True Wireless adapter UTWS5 is equipped with AKM’s high-performance AK4332 DAC chip. It is supported by an amplifier chip that provides better output power than the previous model. UTWS5 has Qualcomm’s latest QCC5141 Bluetooth signal receiver chip. It supports the latest Bluetooth V5.2 connectivity with high-resolution aptX adaptive wireless transmission support. It allows the users to listen to 24-Bit/96kHz with low latency and lower lag in the output. UTWS5 also supports aptX Voice, which enables 32kHz super sideband voice transmission for high-definition voice transmission over calls.

FiiO has featured a new charging case with the UTWS5. It has an 800mAh battery that provides a battery life of up to 30 hours. On a single charge, the UTWS5 ear units provide up to 8 hours of battery life. This new charging case also supports wireless charging.

FiiO UTWS5 features a large tactile button that has improved sensitivity. It has been engineered for improved sensitivity and reduce false touches. Users can tap for quick functions such as play/pause media controls, volume up/down, and more.

UTWS5 can be connected using FiiO Control and FiiO Music Application that allows for managing different functions on the units. They also have precise volume adjustment with 32 levels of volume compared to 26 levels on the UTWS3.
