The new budget model LAN from Moondrop is targeting a new benchmark of entry-level HiFi earphones. As a brand-new product in MOONDROP’s traditional line-up, LAN integrates the experienced acoustic technology of MOONDROP in dynamic driver in-ear headphones, and its performance far exceeds that of other competitors at the same price level.
A new generation of large-size beryllium-plated dome composite diaphragm, high-efficiency internal magnetic driver structure with a brass internal acoustic cavity, and metal stainless steel shell made by MIM powder metallurgy process, all works are adapted to this advanced budget-oriented product.
LAN can be the benchmark sound quality, owning to the newly designed composite diaphragm with a large-size beryllium-plated dome and a flexible suspension. The large-size spherical dome coated with beryllium owns the low split vibration which covers the higher frequency range, and combines with the more linear long-stroke strain of the flexible suspension, to constitute the physical foundation of low nonlinear distortion and wide frequency band.
LAN not only produces an excellent frequency response curve in line with the VDSF Target Response but also provides the ultra-low non-distortion below 0.05%. Excellent acoustic performance not only brings a natural, open, and transparent hearing experience but also offers a neutral timbre and a regular clear soundstage. In terms of its exterior design, the compact shell adopts the MIM powder metallurgy process, and the solid stainless steel housing is manufactured by high-temperature sintering through mold forming.
