Topping DX1 is a new desktop DAC-AMP that comes equipped with an AK4493S new-generation AKM DAC chip. The DAC provides decoding capabilities with support for high-resolution 32-Bit/384kHz PCM and native DSD256 signals.
Topping has equipped the latest DX1 with the newest generation AKM DAC chipset. It houses the AK4493S DAC chip from AKM’s Velvet Sound technology, it’s a 32-bit DAC upgraded from the classic AK4493.
Topping DX1 is an all-in-one solution. The device supports high-resolution PCM and DSD signal decoding bringing an authentic high-resolution audio experience to your desktop. It has an XMOS XU208 USB receiver chip that provides 32-Bit/384kHz and Native DSD256 signals.
Topping DX1 is widely compatible with a range of desktop devices. It doesn’t require any additional power adapter and works directly off your sources like Windows/Mac/Linux and Android devices.
In order to reduce noise from USB power, DX1 features a Discrete LNRD circuit(low noise reference driver). It filters out the noise and interference of USB 5V power and provides a clean and stable power supply to the device.
Topping DX1 is a robust device, it packs a punch in its compact size. It has a powerful output rating of up to 280mW @ 32Ω of load. It has two level gain modes, Low and High.
