FiiO has entered into the full-sized headphone territory with the official release of the FiiO FT3 today. It’s a high-impedance set of over-ear headphones designed with a 60mm 350Ω dynamic driver unit on each side. FiiO has featured a beryllium-plated gasket and DLC material diaphragm that ensures high-fidelity audio performance. FT3 features 3-way swiveling ear cups with a semi-open back design. The drivers are placed inside in an angled direction bringing them in completely parallel to the ears of the listeners.
The acoustic performance for any given IEM or headphone primarily depends on the quality of the drivers used. The new FiiO FT3 packs a powerful sound with large 60mm dynamic driver units. They enable the headphones to produce amazing clarity throughout a wide frequency response range and a wide soundstage presentation.
In order to produce true audiophile-grade sound performance, FiiO has designed the 60mm dynamic drivers for FT3 with a high-quality Beryllium-plated Gasket and DLC material composite diaphragm. The diaphragm is solid in structure and has an ultra-thin design.
FiiO FT3 features a dual magnetic structure design. The driver has asymmetrical internal and external magnetic circuit systems that produce a powerful magnetic flux resulting in the swift movement of the diaphragm coil and enhancing the output with ultra-low distortion and improved driver control.
FiiO FT3 has a high-impedance design with an impedance rating of 350Ω. The pair requires decent amping to sound its best. High-Impedance design ensures the FT3 delivers a high SNR ratio, promising a clean background in the output signal.
FiiO FT3 headphones have a premium all-metallic design with premium aluminum alloy construction. It has a semi-open back design with hollow construction that helps in achieving a comfortable, lightweight, and solid build structure. FiiO has designed the ear cups in such a manner that the drivers come in parallel to the ears of the listeners. The headphones have a 3-axis swiveling design. The ear cups can be swiveled at their place easily, it helps in achieving a comfortable fit for everyone.
FiiO FT3 comes with two sets of distinct-sounding ear pads. FiiO bundles a set of Suede ear pads for balanced sound with enhanced ambiance. The Protein leather ear pads give a clearer sound with a large soundstage and a high level of detail retrieval.
FiiO FT3 includes a high-purity Furukawa monocrystalline copper cable. The high-quality 22AWG wire cores ensure high-resolution sound performance with a rich, lush definition for vocals and instruments. FiiO includes four types of termination for easy usage for everyone. This includes swappable 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs along with 4.4mm to 4-pin XLR and 3.5mm to 6.35mm adapters.
